As a Final Cut Pro user, I was excited to try Captain's Blowout Fixer plug-in, which is based on a Shake script. This handy tool helps correct images that are overexposed, particularly on the skin. When an image is blown out, not all color channels are typically overexposed. For example, even if the red channel is blown out, the green channel may still have valuable information.
