ClearCase::ClearPrompt is a Perl module that offers a variety of features based on the clearprompt program, but with additional functionality. The module includes Clearprompt Abstraction, which provides a more straightforward interface to clearprompt, as well as Trigger Series Support that records and replays responses across multiple trigger firings.
Additionally, Message Capture catches output to stdout or stderr, which may be lost in a GUI environment, and presents it as dialog boxes using clearprompt. The software also includes GUI trigger debugging support that can run the trigger in a Perl debugger session in a separate window, which is useful for debugging trigger problems that only come up in the GUI.
InterOp Environment Normalization modifies %ENV on Windows so that all CLEARCASE_* values use forward (/) slashes instead of backslashes. This feature is generally useful in triggers where many path values such as $ENV{CLEARCASE_PN} are provided in the environment.
