colorsvn

I recently stumbled upon colorsvn, an amazing Subversion output colorizer. If you're searching for a tool to make your Subversion output look more attractive and easy to navigate, look no further than colorsvn. For those of you who are unaware, colorsvn was originally extracted from kde-sdk, and then extended with a build process and configuration to make it even more versatile.

Installing colorsvn is a breeze. All you need to do is run the following commands in your terminal:

./configure
su -
make install

After installation, you may also want to set an alias to svn, so that whenever you type "svn," you'll be running "colorsvn" instead. To do this, simply use the following command:

alias svn=colorsvn

The latest release of colorsvn incorporates some exciting new changes. For instance, Subversion commands for color highlighting are now completely configurable. Furthermore, directories will now be displayed in bold font, and colors will only be applied for configured terminal types, meaning that you can adjust colorsvn's settings to suit your preferences.

Finally, colorsvn comes with an added bonus of filtering out erroneous configured colors as well. This feature ensures that your output looks clean and professional. And of course, any minor installation bugs have been fixed in this release. Overall, I can't recommend colorsvn enough.
