Constructing and installing the platform is extremely easy. To install Convex, simply navigate to the application's directory and type 'make' to build the program. Once it has compiled, move the binary "convex" to a desired location in the file system or run it from its current location.

Creating a config file is essential for Convex to function correctly, without one the program's functionality is limited. A basic starting point is the sample.conf file, which can be easily edited to modify the defines located at the top of the file and the user's section.
