Crescendo Free is a user-friendly music composition software for Mac that enables you to create, store, and print your musical masterpieces. The software offers a range of notation symbols, time and key signatures, making it easy to compose beautiful music.

This software offers a multitude of features to help you compose your music. The key and time signatures can be changed according to your preferences. You can add whole, half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes and rests (semibreve to semiquaver) to your sheets. Not only that, you can also compose music in different Clefs such as Treble, Bass or C Clefs (e.g., Alto and Tenor).
There's more! You can also assign sharp, flat, and natural accidentals to notes using keyboard shortcuts, and insert text to specify the title, tempo, dynamics or lyrics. If you want to change the pitch or placement of a note, you can easily drag it around. The software also automatically detects if a measure has the correct beat amount for the time signature, making sure that your sheet music is correct.
You can adjust staff line placement by snapping them to margins or other staff lines. Additionally, this software allows you to add ties and slurs across notes, zoom in and out for easier editing, and view history of work completed. You can save your completed music projects in Crescendo's format, or export your sheet music as MusicXML. It even allows you to print your completed music projects, or blank music sheets for hand transcription.
In summary, Crescendo Music Notation Editor and Composition Software is an intuitive, easy-to-use software that provides a vast range of features to create professional music scores. From dotted notes to chords, and repeats, this software can help you create your own music sheets with ease.
