MeggieSoft Games Cribbage is a fully-featured two-player card game that supports Three, Four, and Five-Card variation modes. It provides multiple customization options such as audio, visual, and game settings, and can be played alone against a computer or an online opponent.

Cribbage boasts a rich user interface with many customizable graphic, sound and scoring options. You can adjust everything from the MIDI music to the speech output, as well as the various rule and scoring options. Additionally, six different computer opponent skill levels are available for when you want to practice privately or are unable to play online.
For those unfamiliar with the game, cribbage is played with a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to score points by completing combinations such as 15s, 31s, pairs, sequences and flushes, as well as other scoreable situations. The game involves discarding two cards each and then playing the remaining cards in hopes of scoring as many points as possible.
As the rounds progress, players retrieve their played cards and score further points for the combinations they hold. The dealer also scores for the Crib, or the initially discarded cards. The game continues until one player reaches the points goal of 61, 121 or 181 points, depending upon the deal size.
In addition to the standard game, Cribbage also supports the Cutthroat Cribbage (Muggins) variation, as well as other rule and scoring options. The user interface is common to all MeggieSoft games, and supports both point-and-click and drag-and-drop mouse operations. Featuring realistic animated card movements, right-click pop-up menus, a hint facility, a tutorial, automatic play, automatic save and restore of partly finished games, multiple-user scoreboards, a clean and uncluttered main window, status-bar shortcut buttons, and fully customizable main display font and wallpaper effects for the table and playing mat, and the card backs, this software is definitely worth checking out.
