cryptmount

Cryptmount is a useful utility designed for GNU/Linux operating systems. This software allows an ordinary user to easily mount an encrypted filesystem. It was specifically developed to address the existing differences between loopback device and device-mapper mechanisms in the 2.6 kernel series. This makes it easier for a non-root user to access and configure the necessary devices for encrypted filesystems.

The initial configuration of the encrypted filesystem is relatively simple. Once it is set up, any ordinary user can efficiently mount and unmount the filesystem on demand by providing decryption password only.
