Dark Glass Icons

Dark Glass Icons is a KDE theme that is based on the popular OS-K icons. This particular theme is unique in that it features a combination of both original derivatives from the OS-K set, as well as icons from the developer's personal 3d collection. This package is rather large, coming in at a whopping 126MB, with the png source file alone taking up 5MB.

For those interested in installing this theme, there are two methods available. The first option is to download the archive, uncompress it, and copy the files to the /usr/share/icons folder. Once your installation is complete, simply head over to the KDE control center to select the Dark-Glass icons theme.

Alternatively, there is also an installation script available for download. This installation method is a bit more involved, but still quite simple. Users will need to download the zip file, extract it, and navigate to the Dark-Glass-scripted folder. From there, open a terminal and run "./buildset". This process may take some time, but once it is complete, simply install the icon theme through the KDE Control Panel.

This latest release of Dark Glass Icons includes some much-needed corrections on the "open folder", "folder locked", and favorites icons. Additionally, there is a new aMule icon and other cool actions available for use. Overall, this theme is a solid choice for users looking to spice up their KDE desktop.
