Davenport allows WebDAV-based entry to a Windows/Samba network through its servlet system.

Installing Davenport is trouble-free, and the binary distribution is preinstalled in a standalone Jetty Servlet container. Additionally, the preinstalled containers are available as a zip, gzipped tar archive, and Linux RPM install.
Once you've installed the package, configure the deployment descriptor for your specific environment to your liking. After that, you're ready to start the Davenport container from the root directory. When the container is ready, you can browse through your shared resources using your web browser. Just type in the server address on which Davenport is running, and it will list all shares on the "smbserver" server.
