diffchanges.vim

Diffchanges.vim is a Vim plugin that provides the user with the ability to view the changes made to the current buffer since the last save. The plugin is based on an example found in the Hacking Vim book. However, this plugin offers more functionality as it is in the form of a plugin, it is more robust and can be toggled.

The plugin's commands are DiffChangesDiffToggle, which toggles the side-by-side diff view, and DiffChangesPatchToggle, which toggles the patch view. These commands come with default mappings but can be overridden by creating new mappings. The default mappings are dcd for DiffChangesDiffToggle and dcp for DiffChangesPatchToggle.

The user can customize the plugin by setting the g:diffchanges_patch_cmd option, which determines the command used to generate the patch. The default command is 'diff -u'.

Requirements for this plugin are Vim.

In this release, there has been an improvement in error checking as well as the resolution of some regressions from the previous upload.
