Digital Filters is a Java based software that specializes in demonstrating and simulating digital audio filters. Upon opening the applet, you will hear a noise waveform. In case you receive a message stating "Need java 2 for sound", it is recommended to download the Java plug-in. The applet commences with a low-pass filter and displays the frequency response of the filter, the filtered waveform spectrum being played, the waveform itself, and the filter's impulse response.
Users can change the cutoff frequency simply by clicking on the response curve. Moreover, the software offers popup menus on the right-hand side that enable users to choose a different filter or select an input file. With Digital Filters, you can effortlessly explore varying digital audio filter options and effectively enhance audio outputs.
