Dockboard

Dockboard is a powerful outline editor that is developed specifically for authors who are writing books, articles and other published works. With an easy-to-use interface, authors can now efficiently organize their small to large documents to achieve seamless workflow.

In addition, Dockboard includes an array of future plans that includes exporting to PDF, ODF, TXT, etc, drag and drop support in the OutlineView widget, node commenting, and printing support. With these features, authors can easily collaborate and share their work with others.

To install Dockboard, the following requirements must be met: GTK+ version 2.10.x and Libglade 2.0+. Once met, simply unpack the sources and execute the following commands: ./configure, make, and sudo make install.

With the latest release of Dockboard, we have introduced major feature enhancements that include editable labels to make editing nodes easier, the ability to hide children, and a file browser along the side. With these new features, Dockboard continues to be the go-to editor for any author looking to streamline their writing process.
