Draft::TkGui

Draft::TkGui is a Perl module designed for displaying Draft worlds. It opens a Tk GUI window and allows some user interaction with the drawing. This module is aware of Draft drawings and can display them on screen using TK::WorldCanvas, which takes care of all the necessary drawing, panning, and more.

This module is actually a sub-class of Tk::WorldCanvas, which means it inherits all Tk::Canvas methods. To create a Draft::TkGui object, simply use the following command: my $canvas = Draft::TkGui->new. This will show a window and display the drawing.

While using Draft::TkGui, some interaction is possible. You can use the 'i' and 'o' keys to zoom in and out. Additionally, you can use the left mouse button to drag items around the screen, and use the middle mouse button to pan around the viewport.

If you need to redraw the canvas window, you can do so using the $canvas->Draw command. This scans all drawing elements and updates the display with any changes. No files are accessed unnecessarily, so feel free to call this method as often as you like. In fact, by default, this method is called whenever a mouse pointer enters the canvas area.
