Dragon2partisn is a free software program that transforms macroscopic cross sections.
Dragon2partisn is a freeware application designed to convert macroscopic cross sections from DRAGON 3.05E nuclear code into the PARTISN nuclear code format. Recent updates to the program on May 28 at 22:00 have fixed some bugs. Users are encouraged to update to the latest version available.
To compile the code, simply run: gcc -o dragon2partisn dragon2partisn.c. Once compiled, you can use the program to generate cross sections of PARTISN. For example, you can run the following commands:
- Dragon2partisn xspin/xs.txt xs.txt 1 y y y
- Dragon2partisn xslead/xs.txt xs.txt 1 n n y
- Dragon2partisn xslead/xs.txt xs.txt 2 n n y
- Dragon2partisn xslead/xs.txt xs.txt 3 y n y
Note that the xspin/xs.txt and xslead/xs.txt files are the DRAGON 3.05E files of cross sections. Additionally, the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 correspond to the DRAGON materials which will be converted to materials 1, 2, 3, and 4 in PARTISN.
