DragToTab

I recently tried out DragToTab, an extension that allows for an easy and customizable browsing experience. With this extension, you can create two hotspots on your browser window where you can directly drag and drop Internet links, typed URLs, images, and desktop icons. Opening these dropped items has also been modified to accommodate your preferences, as you can now choose to open them either in an existing window or in a new tab or window by simply dragging them onto the designated hotspot.

This extension also comes equipped with a couple of convenient features that enhance the browsing experience even further. Firstly, by holding the Shift key, you can toggle whether new tabs are opened in the background or opened in front, allowing you to continue the task at hand without being interrupted. Secondly, you can middle-click on the New Tab button to open the current webpage in a new tab.

With DragToTab, you can also easily drag and drop links, text, or files onto the "New Tab" and "New Window" icon in the toolbar to open them in either a new tab or in a new window, respectively. Any text containing a complete or partial URL will also be conveniently opened when dropped onto the hotspot.

Overall, DragToTab is a versatile and user-friendly extension that allows for a seamless browsing experience, with features catered to the user's individual needs.
