Dulcify

Dulcify is a sleek and elegant GTK theme designed specifically for the GNOME desktop environment. As with most themes, some modifications are necessary to get the desired results with applications like Firefox and Thunderbird, but this is a minor inconvenience in exchange for the aesthetic appeal of Dulcify.

To make the menubar text white, locate or create the userChrome.css files in the following locations: ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/chrome/ for Firefox and ~/.mozilla-thunderbird/xxxxxxxx.default/ for Thunderbird. Then add the following text to the bottom of the files and save: menu#file-menu {color: white ! important;} menu#edit-menu {color: white ! important;} menu#view-menu {color: white ! important;} menu#history-menu {color: white ! important;} menu#bookmarksMenu {color: white ! important;} menu#tools-menu {color: white ! important;} menu#helpMenu {color: white ! important;} Remember to remove this text if you switch to a new theme.

Installation of Dulcify is straightforward: right-click on your desktop and select "Change Desktop Background." Navigate to the "Theme" tab and drag and drop the theme archive into the Appearance Preferences window. If everything has been done correctly, you'll receive confirmation of the installation, and you can activate Dulcify immediately by clicking on it.
