EasyHotspot provides a different hotspot billing system solution.
EasyHotspot is an excellent alternative solution to the hotspot billing system. This software package is comprised of various open-source components, packaged to allow for easy installation and modification. The ultimate aim of EasyHotspot is to provide a simple-to-use and robust system.
Using EasyHotspot is incredibly easy. You simply need to install the software to your internet server in the same way that you might install an Ubuntu-based distro. Once installed, connect your server to the internet via the eth0 port, and connect your clients via the eth1 port. You can then manage your hotspot via a web browser, pointing it to the relevant URL. Clients will automatically be redirected to your login page.
The EasyHotspot package comes complete with all the necessary components to build a fully-functional hotspot system. These components include LAMP, FreeRadius, ChilliSpot, and Easyhotspot Manager. There are two different user types available: Administrator and Cashier. The Administrator account uses a default username and password of admin and admin123, respectively. The cashier account uses a default username and password of vcool and vcool123, respectively. Each user has different privileges, and you can add multiple cashiers if you log in as the administrator.
There are a few things to keep in mind when using EasyHotspot. We recommend you change all default passwords and remove phpMyAdmin if it isn't required. Create your custom .htaccess file in the /var/www directory, to increase security. Finally, if you like the project, we encourage you to support it by providing feedback, ideas, or code fixes.
