EcasoundMasteringInterface (EMI) is a fantastic python front-end to ecasound - a virtual rackmount effect, perfect for recording and mixing audio. Its real-time usage enables full control over ecasound and its effect parameters. EMI also uses real ecasound parameters names, allowing users to access the ecasound documentation for basics.
EMI's beautiful and light interface fits on a diskette, with a size of about 280 KB. Graphics are developed using Tkinter Canvas. Users can save and export their work in *.ecs format.
