I recently tried out the ActiveX text editor and found it to be a great tool for editing various programming languages such as Java, Perl, and Html. One of the standout features for me was the syntax highlighting which made identifying code structures and syntax errors very easy.

I really appreciated the various selection options such as line, column, and rectangle selections, as well as the ability to append to clipboard, indent and unindent, and add bookmarks. The multitext searches and replacements were also a big help, as was the recursive find in files function, which allowed me to quickly search through a large codebase.

One of the standout features for me was the ability to record and save keystrokes for later use, along with sorting functions and a spell checking framework. The software also allows for tab size conversions and easy handling of external tools.

Overall, the ActiveX editor is a powerful and versatile text editor that can be used for a variety of languages and platforms. It has a range of helpful features that make editing and managing code a breeze.
