Eldorado

Eldorado is an exciting puzzle game that takes you on a thrilling adventure to recover the lost treasures of Eldorado, an ancient city that has been lost for centuries. The game features map runes that come in four different kinds, which you will explore and use to complete your quest.

To progress in the game, you must click on a block of three or more runes of the same kind to make them disappear. As you remove runes, your "Rune bonus" meter fills up, and a treasure appears when it's full. Collecting treasures is achieved by solving the rune puzzle beneath it.

As you advance through the levels, you must recover a certain number of treasures to proceed to the next level. Eldorado offers two game modes: strategy and action. The main difference between the two is how new runes appear. In strategy mode, a new row of runes appears after every four moves, while in action mode, new rows appear at a constant rate over time.

The game ends if your board gets overloaded with runes and they reach the top of the screen. This release has fixed popup menus in options dialog under Mac OS X 10.3, and improved the saving of preferences. Overall, Eldorado is a challenging and delightful game that is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end.
