Ella for Spam FREE is a complimentary version of Ella for Spam Control dedicated to Outlook 2000/02/03. Ella, the Smart Inbox Assistant, swiftly automates and organizes email processing by learning from examples. Not available for Outlook Express.
I recently had the chance to try out Ella for Spam FREE, a Smart Inbox Assistant software that can help you automate your email processing from within the Outlook Inbox.
With the help of a user-friendly Wizard and integrated training toolbar, Ella can learn from the examples of messages you choose to keep in your Inbox, or alternatively move to "Later Reading" or "Spam" folders. After providing Ella with a mere few examples of these message categories, the software is able to automatically place all upcoming messages you receive into their respective folders with ease.
However, the customization doesn't stop there! Users can also define new personal classifications for the processing of their messages, which can convert the initial two classes into something more specific such as "Engineering Matters" and "Personal Correspondence".
The adaptive learning engine, built on a high-performance associative memory technology, is what allows Ella for Spam FREE to learn from user examples and create a message classification model that is completely unique to each individual. Over 100 attributes of your example messages are analyzed and learned by Ella, in order to create a tailor-made profile just for you. As the user's class definitions or preferences change, Ella adapts in response to actions taken by the user to continue refining its model of the user's email sorting behaviors.
And while the FREE version of Ella does include a two-line promotional signature in outbound emails, the purchase version does not. Overall, I found Ella for Spam FREE to be an extremely useful tool for anyone looking to streamline their email processing and improve their productivity.
