Entourage Note from Selection

I recently came across a nifty little tool called Entourage Note from Selection. Originally designed to work with Safari, it actually functions with any application that enables you to select text and has a Copy command available in its Edit menu. Let me tell you, this small but mighty script saves me so much time, I can't imagine not having it!

Once you've selected your desired text and pressed Copy, Entourage Note from Selection automatically prompts you for a title. If you happen to be using Safari, this script takes things a step further by adding the URL of the current page to the text. From there, Entourage Note from Selection proceeds to create a note in Microsoft Entourage, with the text making up the body of the note and the title serving as the subject.

It's worth noting that a prerequisite for using Entourage Note from Selection is Apple's GUI scripting package, which is available for free. Simply download the package and you'll be good to go.
