ES Clipboard Monitor Engine is a Java-based software that tracks images on the clipboard.
ES Clipboard Monitor Engine is a pure Java application designed to capture and process images copied to the clipboard. With the same base Java engines as the ES Image Printer Driver, when a new image is detected, the application offers multiple options to save the images in various formats, including PNG, BMP, JPEG, TIFF, Multi-Page TIFF, PNM, JPEG 2000, GIF, and PDF. Furthermore, it supports different color formats, such as 8, 16, 24, and 32-bit color, 8 and 16-bit gray scale, and black and white.
On top of saving the images, the application can be configured to automatically pass them to a specified program. By default, a dialog box pops up to allow the user to choose whether or not to process an image copied to the clipboard. Users can choose to enable automatic interception to skip the dialog box, and all settings can be configured through the XML files or GUI dialogs.

The driver also features a built-in log submit program to automatically send error logs to Everlast Software for quick problem resolution.
The ES Clipboard Monitor Engine is flexible and highly configurable through its GUI interface or XML files. For global settings in a business environment, XML files can be loaded from a server. Moreover, custom development and/or integration is always possible. Developers can configure the driver to call a Java class that implements an interface to monitor processing, which works on any OS that supports Java 1.4+. Windows developers can also configure the driver to call a native DLL callback function for total control.
