FabFilter Simplon is the perfect software for live performances. This simplified version of FabFilter Volcano has two independent multimode filters that offer low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass responses with 12/24/48 dB/octave slopes. These filters can be used in either serial or parallel mode for maximum flexibility.
Originally developed for FabFilter One, Simplon's filters were designed to be the fattest and smoothest self-oscillating digital filters available. The filters produce a raw sound that is never cheap or 'digital', even at full resonance. Each filter has three different filter characteristics that define the unique sound and overdrive of the filter. The range of filter types combing these characteristics, response and slope settings provide up to 27 different filter types for users to choose from.
Simplon's large interactive filter display shows both filter curves and allows users to drag them around. Users can adjust both filters separately, or both at the same time. In addition to these great features, users are provided with perfectly fine-tuned knobs that work in both vertical and circular drag modes. Interactive MIDI Learn, Smart Parameter Interpolation for smooth parameter transitions, great presets, extensive help, sample accurate automation for all parameters, AltiVec and SSE optimization, and much more are all included.
