Fachwerk is a software aimed at structural engineers who work on reinforced concrete structures. The software's goal is to make the application of discontinuous stress fields and strut-and-tie models simpler. Fachwerk's calculations for strut-and-tie models only use the equilibrium conditions, unlike other programs that make assumptions about elastic behaviour.
In cases where the system is statically indeterminate, Fachwerk calculates the forces of the members that are determinate, and allows users to assign forces to the remaining members.
