'Fenster für Windows!' is compatible with all Windows computers, dating back to Windows 95. Once the program is installed, which can even be done with windows open, the calendar software is set to automatically start up every time Windows boots. This ensures that the new featured calendar motif appears every month without fail. The program itself hides unobtrusively in the system tray, and can be activated with a simple mouse click if needed.

In addition to the monthly calendar, there's also a screensaver that features additional motifs, which can also display the current month's calendar upon request.
