Feta

Feta is a software that acts as a front-end to various package management tools such as dpkg, APT, and debconf. The software provides a robust wrapper around these programs and tries to unify their interfaces while eliminating inconsistencies. Furthermore, Feta includes an efficient teaching mode aimed at guiding users with direct use of the programs.

In the latest release, Feta has integrated several new features comprising the support for teaching mode in 'available' and the inclusion of 'distribution' plugin. Kudos to Norbert Kiesel for both these remarkable additions, which will enhance Feta's functionality significantly.

Also, Feta now bears the capability to prompt for implicit updates continuously. This feature is useful since the APT cache updates even when Packages files are not changed. Lastly, the developers have decided that bugs without bodies will be closed immediately to ensure a seamless experience for users.
