Create tasks effortlessly! With this free Firefox script, instantly generate new tasks in Omnifocus inbox by providing its URL and title.
The Firefox To Omnifocus script is a convenient tool that allows you to easily create new tasks in your Omnifocus inbox based on the URL and title of the front Firefox window. This script comes in two variations to suit your preferences. The first variation uses the URL of the current page as the title of the task, while the second one uses the page title of the Firefox window and includes the URL in the note field.
Once you have imported your tasks, Firefox To Omnifocus will switch you over to Omnifocus and take you to the Projects view and then directly to your Inbox. One thing to note is that this script does not set any project, context, or due date.
Occasionally, you may notice that the script suddenly stops working. This is likely due to a bug in Firefox where other applications are unable to access the URL and title of the current tab and window. If this occurs, the only current solution is to restart Firefox. This shouldn't be a problem if you're using an add-on like Tab Mix Plus, which has session save and restore options to help you pick up where you left off.
