Fission Balls

I recently tried out a game called "Planet Probes," and was pleasantly surprised with its unique gameplay and entertaining story line. In this game, your planet's probes have been attacked by some unfriendly aliens, causing them to malfunction and go out of control. Your mission is to shoot the probes and keep them in space so they do not crash back onto your planet.

At the beginning of each level, your spaceship starts at the bottom of the screen and a probe descends from the top. Using the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard, you can maneuver your spacecraft and prepare to shoot. Once you're in position, hit the spacebar to fire your weapon.

Each time a probe is struck by your weapon, it will break into smaller pieces. You must continue to shoot at the pieces until at least one ball is kept in the air. The shattered balls may carry special items that add an extra layer of excitement to the game. For example, hitting a ball with a lightning icon will increase your shooting speed, while hitting a ball with a wing icon will grant your spaceship extra speed. Be careful, however, as hitting a ball marked with a tortoise icon will slow down your craft.

Occasionally, an asteroid will appear on the screen that you will need to dodge to keep from getting hit. If you do get hit, your spaceship will be petrified for one second. If all of the balls are dropped, the game ends.

Overall, I would highly recommend Planet Probes to anyone who enjoys addictive arcade-style games with an interesting backstory. Take control of the splitting balls and protect your planet from destruction!
