Foong

I recently came across the relatively new software called Foong, which is a multiplayer Pong game clone that is free to download and play on your Mac. Being based on Python, I had a good feeling that this game would be worth the try due to its open-source and user-supported nature.

The game offers an online play option, which I find extremely convenient, especially for a Pong game that benefits from playing against an actual player. To play online, the instructions are quite simple:

1. Run python game_server.py HOST PORT
2. Run python main.py
3. Click connect and enter HOST PORT
4. Wait for other player to connect.

However, I did come across some issues with the online gameplay mode when testing Foong. It seems to have some bugs that prevent a smooth playing experience, which can be frustrating for gamers who value the thrill of the matchup.

Overall, I found Foong to be a decent Pong clone game that has the bonus of being a multiplayer experience. If you are a fan of Pong and looking to try out a new version, I recommend giving this game a try, although do keep in mind that the online mode may have a few bugs to work out.
