FreeDoko

FreeDoko is a popular Doppelkopf-game designed by Borg Enders and Diether Knof that can be played on both Linux and Windows platforms. The game has been in development for some time, but is now fully playable.

Doppelkopf is a card game played by four or more players, with one game played by four players. The game is believed to have originated from the Schafkopf game popular in South Germany. Its name ("Doppel") refers to the double existence of each card (Doppel-Schafkopf). Although it is now played throughout Germany, Doppelkopf is mainly played in North Germany and the Rhein and Main region.

Doppelkopf uses a deck of 48 cards and involves at least 4 players. The game is similar to the popular card game Skat, and requires a certain level of skill to succeed.
