FRUSTIX

I recently had the chance to try out FRUSTIX, a Linux OS that comes in the form of an ISO image. It's a neat little package that can be burned onto a CD with a size of 443 MB, which you can then load into your CD drive. Once the CD is in place, you can boot from it and dive into a basic Linux system with some built-in apps and games.

One of the things that stood out about FRUSTIX is that you don't have to worry about a hard disk since it's designed to run without one. So, you don't have to worry about any damage or any impact on your current setup. If you have some data you'd like to save, you need to eject the FRUSTIX CD and use a UDF formatted CD-RW to save your new files.

In case you wanted to take FRUSTIX for a test drive, you can download it easily. Alternatively, you can run it without installing it onto your computer first, giving you the flexibility to try it out and see if it fits your needs.

Finally, when you're done with the FRUSTIX CD, simply reset your computer or take the CD out, and you can run your previous operating system from the hard drive again, if you had one set up before. All in all, it's a promising option for those looking for a basic and straightforward Linux OS.
