Formerly known as 'de Jong Explorer', the application has been renamed to accommodate other chaotic functions. By leveraging the simple Peter de Jong map equations: x' = sin(a * y) - cos(b * x) and y' = sin(c * x) - cos(d * y), users can create images that are based on the probability that the points lie within the area represented by each pixel. By allowing Fyre to render progressively longer, the software collects more samples, producing an image that's more accurate.
The resulting probability map is treated as a High Dynamic Range image, which includes some image manipulation features such as linear interpolation, gamma correction, and Gaussian blurs.
