GEGL's functionality can be accessed through C++ bindings for simplified usage.
GEGLMM is a set of C++ bindings for the open-source image processing framework, GEGL. At present, it is able to bind gegl 0.0.16, however, please be aware that it is currently in an unstable state.
When it comes to installing GEGLMM, the process is relatively simple. First, navigate to the directory containing the package's source code, then run the `./configure` command. Note that, if you are using `csh’ on an old version of System V, you may need to use `sh ./configure` instead, to prevent `csh` from trying to execute `configure’ itself.
Running `configure’ can take some time, as it tests for various features. Once that is done, type `make’ to compile the package, then optionally run `make check’ to test it. To install the programs and any associated data files/documentation, type `make install.’
To tidy up, you can remove the program binaries/object files from your source code directory by typing `make clean.’ If you want to remove the files created by `configure’ (to allow you to compile the package for a different kind of computer), type `make distclean.’ Note that there is also a `make maintainer-clean’ target, but this is mainly intended for the package's developers.
