GeniusConnect DVBLink extends Outlook's calendar function to an EPG guide with categorization, recording management, and live/recorded TV viewing capabilities.
I recently came across GeniusConnect DVBLink for Outlook, which has completely transformed my Outlook calendaring experience. The software offers a range of features, such as a full-featured EPG guide and category coloring for program types. Moreover, it allows me to manage my recordings and watch Live/Recorded TV seamlessly.
To use the EPG and recording management features, I had to have DVBLink Connect! Server and Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010/2013 installed on my system. To watch TV/Recordings, I had to use a media player such as (Windows Media Player, VLC etc..).
The supported folder types include Root Folder: Any folder and EPG Folder: Calendar. These folder types ensure that I can easily manage my recordings, watch TV, and keep track of my calendar events.
