Getopt::Modular

I recently had the chance to try out the Getopt::Modular module and I must say, I'm impressed. The module aims to achieve a few goals, one of which is to allow multiple custom modules to specify the options they want to take. This is a game-changer as it eliminates the need to repeat code for handling parameters, defaults, validation, and more.

What's more, the module enables the reuse of modules in multiple applications without any headaches, which is a huge plus. Even better, you don't have to worry about what parameters a module may take if it merely grabs them from the global environment. In my experience, I've found myself reusing modules that should be user-configurable via the commandline in multiple applications. This feature comes in handy as all I have to do is "use Module;" and my new application takes all the parameters that Module requires.

Moreover, the module allows variable information to be in close proximity to its use. The SYNOPSIS provides an excellent code snippet to get started with this powerful module. By using Getopt::Modular, one can accept numerous parameters such as "foo," specifying the default value, specification, and validation. In essence, Getopt::Modular is a fantastic tool that every programmer should have in their toolbox.
