Gladius

If you're a World of Warcraft player and struggle with targeting enemies in arenas, Gladius might be the free add-on you've been searching for. It adds enemy unit frames to arenas to make targeting and focusing much easier. The design is simple and effective, with a health bar, optional mana bar below the health bar, and even an optional cast bar below the mana bar. On the left side of the health bar, you'll see an optional class icon that makes it easy to identify enemies at a glance. What's more, important buffs and crowd control durations will overwrite the class icon (if you choose to include them) for greater situational awareness.

If you're worried about the add-on encroaching on your screen's real estate, don't be. The frame resizes itself to the current bracket and is fully customizable. It even comes with the option to add important buffs and crowd controls in the auralist.lua file, where you can also set priorities for each one. This means that if a buff or debuff is already displaying when the spell is cast, it'll only show up on the class icon if the priority level equals or is higher than the current one displayed.

While Gladius is easy to use, there are a few slash commands you should know. Type "/gladius ui", "config", or "options" to display the configuration screen. You can also type "/gladius test1-5" to show a test frame with the chosen amount of test units. If you need to hide the test frame, just type "/gladius hide". Finally, for those of you who love to simulate gameplay, "/gladius trinket" simulates a trinket being used for the first arena target. Overall, Gladius is a no-brainer add-on for WoW players who participate in PvP arenas.
