A blend of MidnightBlackPlastic and Orange-LinstaBlackPlastic GNOME themes.
Gloss Black is a fantastic combination of two popular GNOME themes, MidnightBlackPlastic and Orange-LinstaBlackPlastic. As a user, I was looking for something that featured a black panel with blue highlights and this theme delivered just that. I must extend my appreciation to the creators of the original two themes for producing such great work.
The installation of Gloss Black is a straightforward process. All you have to do is right-click on your desktop, select "Change Desktop Background" and click on the first tab, which is "Theme." Next, drag the theme's archive into the Appearance Preferences window. Upon successful installation, you will receive a confirmation message, and the theme will be activated immediately upon clicking it.
As a bit of background information, GNOME is a global initiative aimed at developing a complete desktop environment. The project is exclusively focused on free software, and its objectives include creating software development frameworks, choosing desktop application software, and collaborating in the development of programs that oversee the launching of applications, file management, window and task management.
