Gnymph

Gnymph is a programming language designed for generalized, object-oriented dataflow tasks that functions on the Linux platform. The language functions by creating diagrams that describe program functionality which users can then step through to check for errors, and subsequently compile into C source code. This process increases productivity, documents development progress, and provides a collaborative toolset for non-technical users.

It is important to note that Gnymph is still in the pre-alpha phase of development. Though it is currently useful for creating dataflow diagrams and visualizing program structures, the compiler is not entirely developed, and further work is needed. The documentation for the source code is also currently disorganized and unedited, so it is not included in the release.

The Gnymph project is licensed under the GPL version 2. To get started with Gnymph, users must first download the tarball package from the website, decompress the files, and build the program. Once the program is in place, the user can access it by running the ./gnymph command. The full-screen mode can be accessed with the Ctrl-Shift-F command, while exiting the program requires the Escape button.

Users will find that the class hierarchy of Gnymph is vast and complex, though an example is included in the package. It is crucial to note that the development files for gtk2 must be installed before compiling the Gnymph source.
