GPULife

I recently tried out GPULife and was thoroughly impressed with its performance. This screensaver displays Conway's Game of Life, but what sets it apart is that it is implemented entirely as an OpenGL shader. As a result, GPULife uses almost no CPU power as it runs, which is a major plus in my book.

But that's not all – GPULife can achieve very high framerates, making for a smoother and more visually engaging experience. Watching the cells come to life and interact with each other is a mesmerizing sight, and the fact that it runs so smoothly adds to the overall enjoyment.

I also appreciate the customizable settings, which allow me to adjust the colors and speed of the animation. Overall, I highly recommend GPULife for anyone interested in Conway's Game of Life or just looking for a visually stunning screensaver that won't drain your computer's resources.
