Entourage's Group Sort feature sorts selected group entries.
Group Sort (Entourage) is an efficient software that allows users to sort their group entries with ease. With this application, you can sort the group members of either a selected group in the Address Book, or one or more groups you choose from a list, or all your groups whatever you choose into alphabetical order by last name in one quick pass.
Furthermore, all group members who are contacts with the default email address are displayed with the "little man" contact icon with proper linkage to the Address Book. You can also maintain non-contact group members with the @ icon. After running this script, all the group members' names with their e-mail addresses will appear in their Group windows in alphabetical order by surname (or only name), including even Group members who are not proper contacts dragged from the Address Book but who have been added by typing in their names and e-mail addresses.
This software applies to every Group in your Address Book. Group entries without display names (i.e. consisting of e-mail addresses only) are listed alphabetically at the top of the list. Although Entourage's format here does not include signs around the addresses. There is a dialog box at the end of the process to tell you it’s finished.
