GTK Cervi

The GTK Cervi project is a multiplayer version of the popular game Cervi. While the original name of the game is unclear, it is commonly known as Cervi, hence the name of this version. In this game, 2-8 players drive their worms, which grow longer over time. The objective is to avoid colliding with other worms and the last surviving worm is declared the winner. While the gameplay is largely the same as the original, there are some minor differences that won't be fixed as the developer prefers it that way. Additionally, the cerv's in GTK Cervi are antialiased, the field size can be adjusted, there are different controls, scoring mechanisms, and hatrick and extra hatrick bonuses.

To run the game, players will need a GNU C++ compiler (gcc & g++), GNU C library (glibc), GNU Standard C++ library (libstdc++) v2 (though v3 is recommended), GIMP Toolkit (GTK+) and GIMP Drawing Kit, ESound, and Timidity.

What's new in the latest release is a fix to the Makefile, addressing any issues players may have encountered previously. Overall, GTK Cervi provides an enjoyable multiplayer experience with customizable gameplay mechanics and sleek graphics.
