Luckily, the software comes bundled with some helpful tools to make this process easier. There's a python script that you can use to reset the HP Communication settings, as well as an application that you can simply double click if you prefer a more user-friendly experience. And if you're someone who prefers running commands directly from the terminal, don't forget to use the chmod 755 command on both hpcomm.py and hpkill.py.
