IDL Client

The IDL Client offers a convenient set of IDL command procedures that enable users to easily access DAP data servers from within IDL. With these procedures, you can quickly subdivide and read values from numerous data servers found throughout the Internet, eliminating the need to download and convert file formats. The OPeNDAP C API(v-1.33) has replaced the OPeNDAP CPP API in the client, removing issues caused by runtime incompatibilities when using the DAP CPP implementation executed and instantiated by the IDL shared object modules written in C. This implementation greatly enhances the client's efficiency and usability.
