iGoogle Sidebar

I recently came across a nifty software called iGoogle Sidebar that allows users to view their iGoogle modules in an optimized layout on the sidebar. The inspiration behind this software came from a tip shared by Erica Joy via her blog. Erica suggested creating a bookmark to iGoogle and opening it on the sidebar using a feature of Firefox. While this trick worked perfectly fine previously, some changes in Google's code and Firefox version 1.5.0.6 caused it to become unusable. iGoogle Sidebar aims to reproduce the same feature initially described in Erica's tip with some additional features.

To use iGoogle Sidebar, users have three options: select "View -> Sidebar -> IGoogle" from the menu, use the key combination "Ctrl+Alt+I," or click on the toolbar button. Additionally, users can disable the "Reduce font size" feature by either unchecking the item in the extension's Options dialog or right-clicking on the iGoogle Sidebar page and unchecking the item.
