ILikeTheOldAppDialog is a Firefox 2 extension that brings back the old window behaviour for downloading and opening files. By tweaking the "components.overlay.use_small_apphandlerdialog" preference, this extension gives users the freedom to choose from three different options:
- The normal Firefox 2 behaviour (0)
- Showing the small dialog just for executable files and the normal dialog for unknown files (1)
- Never showing the small dialog (default) (2)
ILikeTheOldAppDialog puts users in control of their Application Helper Dialog layout. To use this extension, all you need is Firefox 2.0 - 2.0.0.* installed on your computer.
