I recently used ionTimer and found it to be a simple yet effective tool to keep track of time. This multifunctional digital countdown timer can measure in hours, minutes, and seconds with time ranging from 1 second up to 99 hours.

The software offers four modes: Transparent Full Screen, which creates a transparent text timer that is always in front of other applications; Transparent Mode, which turns the main application timer transparent; Minimized Mode, which creates an icon in the lower left-hand System Tray displaying the time in a Balloon Tip; and Always on Top, which keeps the main timer window always in front of other applications.
