This software enables the implementation of 'state top' functionality from IP Filter into IP Tables.
I have been using IP Filter on Solaris for a number of years, and I often find myself missing the functionality of State Top when I am working on IP Tables in Linux. This was my primary motivation for creating a version of State Top that was compatible with IP Tables.
