I recently came across a fantastic software called JavaDoc, and I must say it has made my life so much easier. The software is designed to open the local HTML description page for a given class name- all you have to do is enter the class name and the rest is done for you.
What I love most about this software is how neat, simple and quick it is. No more long hours of scouring through pages of API documentation- JavaDoc is here to save the day. However, it is worth noting that the software requires Local Java API documentation to be installed before it can function effectively.
You can easily achieve this by using the XTools installer options, which can be found on the Tiger DVD. In summary, I highly recommend this software to any developer looking to make their work easier and more efficient.
