kate-ctags-plugin-patch

The kate-ctags-plugin-patch is a patch designed to enhance the capabilities of the kate-ctags-plugin-0.2. With this patch, users are given the opportunity to conveniently return to the same place they entered into function or other label tags with just a press of a button (similar to vim's ctrl+T and ctrl+]).

The PS has attempted to reach out to the plugin authors but hasn't received a response yet. To use the kate-ctags-plugin-patch, the user needs to perform a few steps: extract the kate-ctags-plugin-0.2.tar.gz file, copy the kate-ctags-plugin-0.2.1.patch to the same directory, apply the patch through the command prompt, configure, make and install.

Once installed, the user can easily access the added features by directing their cursor to Kate -> setting -> hot keys -> set. They can then use the plugin to lookup the curent context as Declaration or Definition, and return with one jump back with ctrl+T.
